If you haven’t seen the movie Drive.. go see it!!! The star of the movie Ryan Gosling got me hooked! He pulls off the denim on denim look nicely. ;) Above is a picture from the movie!
I’d also like to stop a misconception about the denim jacket… It CAN be worn with jeans! The jean washes DO NOT have to match!
Take that home and write it in your fashion bible!
And remember: A jean IS a neutral! (stripes can be paired with stripes, plaids with plaids, stripes with plaids, plaids with stripes, prints with prints, neutrals with any color etc.)

Classic Fit: This is in between slim and loose. It is a modern fit.
Loose Fit: This is a relaxed fit. RELAXED NOT BAGGY!!!
Alright so I’m going to make this simple for you guys!
1. Figure out your ACTUAL size.
2. Go into you favorite store and asked to try on a slim, classic, and loose fit in your size.
3. Decide if you like boot cut or straight leg (which you might already know)

Here are two styles of hats that are IN for 2011 and some that are completely WRONG. The Fedora and Floppy Beach Hat! Personally I’m not a hat person. I think some people just can’t pull off cetain hats. I look good in a cowgirl hat.. I know, funny right! Anyway, make sure your hat fits with your style and the event you’re going to.
You’ve seen them! Feather extension! HOT or NOT? I actually like them and have thought about getting some.. but seriously people!!! If you are over the age of 25, please for the sake of my sanity and your looks do not get any! Also, tinsel extensions… I’m thinking… What the hell?! Did a Christmas tree just explode on your head?! I’m Finding out Love is Unreliable.
Here’s a change. This blog post isn’t about fashion.. it’s about love. Does your love got swagger? Ahh.. love. I hate the word and at the same time I crave it.
Why do I hate the word you say? Well people change, words change, everything changes. In this world of change the word love does not mean the same thing in many situations.
I have learned to no longer truly believe it when someone says “I love you.” Love is not shown through saying those three little words. It is shown by the words you say or don’t say in the little moments in life and the actions you choose.. which reinforce your true feelings.
Maybe some of you reading this are going through a struggle with love. Maybe you’re not. Either way, you may take this and use it sometime in your life.. if not.. well then.. fine I’m not talking to you!
- Truth: Love hurts, whether it’s right or wrong.
In some way love will hurt you. It may be through a romantic relationship, parents getting a divorce, best friend stabbing you in the back, or losing someone you love.
- False: You can change someone and the choices they make.
It sucks that you can’t change what people decided to do. You can’t change the way they treat you or others. The only thing you can do is give them your advice and point of view, but in the end they are the ones who decide the choices they make.
- Truth: Love is selfless.
When it all comes down to it, this is the MOST IMPORTANT thing I have learned from watching many failed and successful relationships. Love is all about giving. Everyone has love to give. You give your own love and someone may give you theirs in return. Everyone needs love.. it’s just the matter of if they are willing to be selfless with theirs to receive someone else’s unselfish love in return.
To conclude this post about this topic that confuses many of us from a day-to-day basis, I would like to say I love you all.. and when I say it I mean it with all the love in my heart. :) Also, remember to never take love for granted. Love should be cherished. It is a beautiful thing.
